a round-up of my best SPRING recipes
spring is springing, so get cooking good looking !
Oh hey, I’m doing something a little different this week!1
After a long, dark, cold winter.. spring is HERE (!) which means we can finally move on from the same winter veggies and start cooking with all the glorious greens popping up in our gardens and on farmers market tables.
So as we plow forward into spring, today I’m rounding up my most popular spring-inspired recipes from the last three years of this newsletter. A note that some of these recipes will be paywalled, and some will be free. For access to ALL the recipes, consider joining as a paid subscriber (you’ll get a new seasonal recipe every week + access to my full recipe archive, gardening guides, video tutorials, and join our private community chat, aka the Help Line.)
Also! A heads up that the links below take you to the original post when I shared the recipe, so *just scroll down a bit* until you see “Kitchen Notes” and the recipe that follows. Happy cooking!
Salads
Veggie Sides
Mains
Dessert
Full disclosure – honestly, some weeks I really struggle to develop a new recipe, test it out, tweak it, photograph it, and write up a new post WHILE ALSO running a vegetable farm, taking care of two young kids, keeping everyone fed / clean / clothed, etc. It’s been an extra full week (and I’m teaching my first in-person workshop of the year tomorrow), so although there’s not a new recipe today, hopefully this round up of delish spring recipes from the past 3 years will still help you eat like a farmer!
Each of these recipes has a crunch and a hint of older roots and new greens...I look forward to June for the first of the produce that's fresher than in our supermarket warehouses
